Using theatre techniques and exercises, the kids will have a chance to learn and experience through movement and role playing what the new colonists learned from the First Nations Peoples, the Aboriginals, and how they helped them adapt and survive in the new world.

Working in groups, by the end of the workshop the kids will have created a theatre tableau depicting one story which teaches a lesson (e.g. how to hunt in a group, how to make food grow faster, etc..) and they will have made a take away book of their learnings.
